'WDBO Message Alerts' can be sent to either your cell phone via text message, or to your email. Note that you will incur any normal charges that are typical for text messaging with your carrier; you will be billed by your carrier. While we have optimized our character count to accommodate most phones and carriers, some may cut off the end of the message.

You will ONLY receive WDBO Message Alert information when the following occurs:
Traffic Alerts: Shutdowns or closures on major roadways.
Weather Alerts: Notification of Hurricane Watch and Warnings or, in some cases, severe emergency weather.
News Alerts: Extraordinary national, regional and local news
