POLL: Do You Use Facebook?
Facebook.com is more than just a website according to Paisley Bower.
"I've gone through every emotion with that page, it's life."
With 34 million active users online, it's the 6th most visited website in the United States.
In order to understand the Facebook world, you need to fluent in its language.
The wall is an area on every facebook profile that allows users to type each other comments that are visible to anyone who sees your profile.
Everytime Christina Bargainer goes out she says her friends take pictures, but if they are they aren't flattering they urged her not to tagged in them.
"Do not tag me, that's a bad picture," she says.
So what does it mean to get tagged? It's when you can identify people in pictures you post, linking it to the individuals profile so you can access their page.
"I don't do the poking thing, I think it's ridiculous."
Like many, Bargainer is not a fan of the poke feature. Users can "poke" one another to attract each other's attention or serve as another way of saying hello.
"The feed was a really crazy thing, it was almost like Facebook became too stalker, you can see everything that was going on," says Holly Smith.
The news feed came onto the Facebook scene last year stirring up controversy. The news feed tracks your every move in the Facebook world, allowing others to see it too. It tracks everything from the last comment you posted to when you broke up with your significant other.
Facebook is the second largest social networking website just behind Myspace in terms of website traffic.
"It's a crazy little phenomenom," says Smith.
A crazy little thing that keeps getting bigger.
