Nikki Pierce came to Central Florida in 1997 to go to Rollins College in Winter Park, and fell in love with the area. Shortly after graduation in 2000, Nikki was performing as an actor at various theatres and theme parks when she realized she was spending all her offstage time watching, listening to and looking up news!
Switching her focus to broadcasting, she landed a job with WDBOs sister stations WHTQ and WMMO as a DJ and fill-in news anchor. It wasnt long before she was part-time anchor, then full-time reporter for WDBO, after serving as morning news anchor for the local Fox News Radio affiliate for a time.
When shes not reporting, youll still find her performing theatre with various groups around town.
