Yesterday-Today-and-Tomorrow (Brunfelsia grandiflora)
This shrub will bloom from November through May. The flowers will first open as purple and then change to pale blue the second day. On the third day the blooms will turn white. Blooms can cover even the branches when conditions are ideal. During this blooming season, the foliage will thin out. This plant is native in Bolivia to Venezuela and is best suited to morning sun and some afternoon shade. It also needs to be located away from concrete. Remember the area also has to be moist because if it is in a dry area it can quickly wilt. The height can reach 8-10 feet if left unpruned.
