Clay pots are a great addition to any garden. They draw the salts from fertilizer and the minerals from hard water out of the soil and into the clay, and hold them away from the roots. However, this healthy process will cause a hard, white film to form on the outside of the pot which is very difficult to clean.
So to keep your pots looking beautiful this season, follow the Garden Rebel's simple steps to make them look like new again:
1.Mix a solution of one part bleach, nine parts water.
2.Use a stiff wire brush to scrub off the deposits.
3. Rinse the pot with fresh water when you're done.
