Actress and wild-child in recovery Lindsay Lohan enjoyed a day out at the beach - and treated onlookers to a beachside striptease as she pulled down her long sundress to reveal a red-hot bikini.

The 21-year old arrived at a friend's Malibu beach house in a fashionable maxi dress which concealed her bulky alcohol detection ankle tag.

But she soon stripped off to catch some rays in the Californian sunshine, but stopped shy of completely removing the dress, to conceal the drink-monitor tag.

Lindsay spent the day at Polaroid Beach House in Malibu, one of the most photographed spots in LA. She's desperate to send out a message that she's recovering after her rehab stint, but didn't want to give her tag another airing.

If she's concerned by her recent arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, it didn't show, as she chilled out at the beachside barbecue in celebrity hotspot Malibu, where she has spent the weekend partying.

The 'Mean Girls star' was required to turn herself in to police in connection with car crash in May. She attended the Beverly Hills Police Department last week to be fingerprinted and photographed, according to the police.

After sunning herself, Lindsay headed to a pizza parlour in Hollywood where she indulged in a spot of grafiti in the men's toilets.

She scrawled in a black marker: "We love our boys" and "Frankie my love thanks for taking care of me and feeding my crew. Stay sexy."
