Kirsten Dunst - who played red-headed Mary Jane in the three block-buster installments of the cartoon classic - lost a $13,0000 handbag and other items when thieves sneaked through an open door into her Manhattan hotel suite, court records show.

Dunst, 25, was in NYC shooting the upcoming film, "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People."

They made off with the bag, $2,500 in cash, an iPod, credit cards and two digital cameras, according to court records.

A surveillance camera caught the thieves leaving the downtown hotel, authorities said.
