Rumor has it Coach Bergman was fired for harassment...
Longtime University of Central Florida baseball coach Jay Bergman has been fired. UCF Associate Athletics Director Joe Hornstein told the Orlando Sentinel "It's a personnel issue, We're not going to get into it beyond that."

However, sources close to the school say it is due to allegations of harassment from a fellow worker in the athletic department.

The 69 year old Bergman has a record of 994-594-3 in his career at UCF. He had 26 seasons at the school and was let go with just three weeks left in the regular season. Before coming to UCF, Bergman was the coach at the University of Florida and took the Gators to their first NCAA appearance.

What a shock! It had to have been something pretty bad to fire this guy with all he has accoplished. I hope it is not some PC nonsense which is what it probably was.
