Blepharoplasty
A surgical procedure for those patients who have "droopy" eyelids. Oftentimes this affects vision by reducing a patient's visual field. This procedure is done at our adjacent surgical facility and is oftentimes covered by insurance depending upon the extent of visual loss. Collagen Replacement Therapy
A non surgical treatment that may immediately reduce lines, wrinkles and acne scars with little or no recovery time. Collagen is generally used for those patients who have deep lines and wrinkles. Botox
injections may immediately reduce wrinkles and is used primarily for crow's feet, frown lines and lines on the forehead. Botox works by keeping underlying muscles relaxed. Dermabrasion
(particle skin resurfacing) is a non invasive procedure performed at our facility to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, scarring, large pores and acne. This procedure is not like chemical peels or laser treatments in that is NON invasive. It abrades the outer layer of skin to expose a healthier, younger appearance. This is done once a week over a five to six week period. Specially formulated creams are given after the treatment and female patients are able to wear makeup the following day.
